Fatal moment in history of cigar manufacturing is considered moment of Fidel's Castro coming to power. After Cuban revolution many owners and masters of cigar business have moved from Cuba in Dominican Republic and other countries of Caribbean Basin. In 1962 USA have imposed embargo on Cuban goods what gave impulse for cigar manufacturing development in these countries. For the last years, due to difficulties on Island of Freedom and at the same time increased demand on cigars in the world, traditional school of cigar manufacturing is revived and developed in Dominican Republic and Honduras, Mexico and Nicaragua. On title of luxurious cigars of manual roll-up supplier started to make claim other countries of Caribbean Basin and Latin America: Jamaica, Brazil, Venezuela, Panama, and Costa-Rico. Manually cigars are also made in India, on Philippines and Canary Islands, in USA, Indonesia, and Italy. Machine-made cigars are manufactured in USA, Holland, Spain, Belgium, Switzerland, Denmark, Austria, Germany, England, France, Slovakia and China.

From the middle of 60th and till 80th years was observed some calm in cigar's popularity. New boom in cigar history begins in period of general liberalization of freedom morals. Now cigars are smoked not only by major businessmen and magnates, but also movie stars among which are many women as well and also ordinary man of fashion.

Cigar business is dynamic always are bred new tobacco sorts, cigars are improved, appear new brands, go in history the old ones. For the last decades appeared and captured the headlines tens of new cigars. They successfully compete but sometimes they exceed their elder predecessors. Only one thing remains unchanged - power of love and predilection to cigar.
