According to the first law will be prohibited smoking in 30 meters area from educational institutions. In order to smoke students will have to move away from school. Infringers will have to pay big penalty.
"Passive smoking is very dangerous, but this vicious habit of American students will not cause harm to their non-smoking peers", - assures Andrew Cuomo.
Second law covers ban for selling electronic cigarettes to minors what was acceptable before as they were not considered tobacco products.
As compared to other American states New York is anti-tobacco leader. However, even here law-abiding citizens begin to step across line.
